Learn MoreDuring his almost thirty years of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Pan-Kita directed a number of highly successful groups & divisions across the banking and capital markets spectrum. Not only were the groups consistently profitable, but many became leaders in their industries. Mr. Pan-Kita’s experience has been vast and varied, ranging from managing multibillion-dollar global fixed income portfolios to spearheading global strategy & structuring teams in both the fixed income and equity capital markets. Most recently, he was responsible for managing the entire Debt Capital Markets and Special Situation divisions covering the complete financing and placement process across various financial institutions. He also led the fast-growing Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) & Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) divisions across these institutions.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Pan-Kita has provided corporate advisory services to some of the largest Fortune 500 companies. He has actively engaged in banking transactions across the entire capital raising, asset-liability management, corporate restructuring, and special situations spectrum. Not only does Mr. Pan-Kita leverage his product & industry knowledge of structured credit, distressed debt, and private equity, but he can also rely on his extensive global network of personal relationships to ensure the successful completion of financial transactions. His clients include some of the world’s largest pension funds, asset managers, family offices, central banks, and hedge funds.
Prior to joining Univest Securities LLC, Mr. Pan-Kita was a senior executive at some of the world’s largest investment banks. At Deutsche Bank, he managed the Global Fixed Income Tradable Indices Group, launching one of the fastest-growing fixed income ETFs, while also being responsible for the firm’s asset-liability management effort in North America. At Morgan Stanley, Mr. Pan-Kita was the global head of both the Index & Portfolio and Interest Rate Strategy Group, overseeing a team of research analysts who consistently ranked amongst the highest in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Mr. Pan-Kita is a graduate of the University of Arizona and holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he was the recipient of the Stern Academic Scholarship. Besides supporting the University of Arizona’s Wildcats, Mr. Pan-Kita is a major sponsor of the fine & performing arts, actively supporting some of New York City’s most iconic institutions. He is also a senior policy advisor for the Coalition of Hope Foundation, Inc.
