NEW YORK, NY — Univest Securities, a global investment banking firm with more than 30 years of experience, appeared live at the New York Stock Exchange to discuss its “creative yet disciplined” approach to investment banking, its global platform, and the policy, technology, and sector trends shaping the future of capital markets.

During the interview, Edric Yi Guo, Chief Executive Officer, and Bradley Richmond, Chief Operating Officer, outlined Univest’s comprehensive investment banking services, which include IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements, SPAC transactions, and strategic advisory services for issuers across the United States, Asia, and Europe. Therefore, Univest’s leadership emphasized the firm’s long-standing philosophy of combining innovative transaction structuring with disciplined decision-making through market cycles.

“We focus on creating structures that deliver lasting value for both issuers and investors,” said Edric. “At the same time, discipline means knowing when not to transact and providing the right advice at the right moment.”

Additionally, Bradley noted that powering data centers amid the rapid growth of artificial intelligence remains a core area of focus for the firm. He added that government policy will also significantly influence the development of these sectors over the coming decades.

Edric further discussed the transformative impact of AI on healthcare and pointed to increasing geopolitical tensions as a catalyst for U.S. onshoring and the re-establishment of domestic supply chains. For that reason, approximately half of Univest’s deal flow originates from international clients. The firm has served as an underwriter on landmark cross-border transactions, including the first Singaporean and Japanese IPOs listed in the United States.

On the other hand, Univest’s team specializes in advising global issuers on the differences between regulatory regimes, accounting standards, and public market requirements across jurisdictions, including those of the NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange. Univest also highlighted its close working relationship with NestPoint Group, a Washington-based policy advisory firm that assists issuers in navigating government policy, regulatory developments, and geopolitical risk.

“Having informed access to policymakers enables our clients to better understand issues such as tax policy, tariffs, and onshoring initiatives,” said Edric. “This can help avoid unnecessary friction while opening up meaningful growth opportunities.”

Looking to the future, Univest leadership acknowledged that advances in AI and blockchain are reshaping finance, including trade settlement and documentation processes. However, both executives emphasized that relationship-driven dealmaking remains fundamental to the firm’s long-term success.

“Technology will continue to change how we operate,” said Richmond. “But our relationships—both in the United States and globally—will always be at the core of how we serve our clients.”

As Univest enters its next phase of growth, the firm plans to further expand its platform into areas such as merchant banking and enhanced trading operations, while continuing to deliver disciplined, client-focused investment banking solutions worldwide.

New York, Nov 18, 2025 —  Univest Securities, LLC marked a notable moment as CEO Edric Yi Guo and COO Bradley Richmond joined the New York Stock Exchange to discuss the firm’s global strategy, market outlook, and continued evolution in the investment banking landscape.

For more than three decades, Univest has been known for its “creative yet disciplined” approach to investment banking. Edric and Bradley explained that this philosophy guides the firm’s work across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, supporting issuers and investors through IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements, SPAC transactions, and comprehensive advisory services. Edric noted that creativity at Univest means structuring innovative transactions that drive long-term value, while discipline ensures clients receive clear, grounded guidance—especially in volatile market conditions. “We don’t chase hype,” he said. “Our responsibility is to give the right advice at the right time.”

Bradley highlighted several major trends shaping today’s markets, including the rapid growth of clean energy infrastructure and AI-driven data centers. Edric added that artificial intelligence will also play an increasingly transformative role in healthcare, reshaping patient care and innovation. Both leaders pointed to renewed U.S. onshoring and supply chain restructuring as long-term shifts driven by geopolitical dynamics. “Onshoring and supply chain rebuilding will be major forces for decades,” Edric remarked.

With international clients representing nearly half of its deal volume, Univest has guided numerous global companies through the U.S. listing process, including serving as underwriter for the first Singaporean and first Japanese IPOs in the United States. Edric emphasized the firm’s role in helping issuers navigate differences in regulatory regimes, accounting standards, financial reporting, and investor expectations across global markets. “Our team understands how business is conducted across continents, and we guide clients through every step of the U.S. listing process,” he said.

Bradley also emphasized the growing importance of public policy in capital markets. Through Univest’s close relationship with the Nestpoint Group—a prominent U.S. policy advisory firm and shareholder of Univest—the firm helps clients address issues related to taxation, tariffs, onshoring, and shifting federal priorities. Edric noted that informed policy engagement helps issuers avoid risk and identify new opportunities amid regulatory change.

Looking ahead, both leaders acknowledged that AI and blockchain will continue transforming operational aspects of finance. Still, they agreed that the core of investment banking—relationships, trust, and human interaction—remains irreplaceable. “Our business is built on relationships, both globally and in the U.S.,” Edric said. “As technology evolves, the strength of those relationships will continue to drive value for our clients.”

Edric and Bradley closed by expressing confidence in Univest’s next phase of growth, including expansion into merchant banking, trading operations, and additional complementary business lines.

SINGAPORE, JULY 08. 2025 – At the third-annual ORY APAC-US Conference 2025 (held July 8–9 at Capella Singapore on Sentosa Island in Singapore), Edric Yi Guo, CEO of Univest Securities, was invited as a panel speaker for the session titled “Market Mind Games: Buy-Side Insights into Investor Behaviour.” The conference, co-hosted by Nasdaq, Inc. and the law firm Ortoli Rosenstadt, brings together emerging growth companies, institutional investors, research analysts, and global capital-markets professionals to explore cross-border strategies and U.S. capital-market access from the APAC region.

During his remarks, Edric focused on the sequences following a public offering on how companies can engage institutional investors, work with research analysts, and execute non-deal roadshows in partnership with investment banks. Furthermore, he offered practical perspectives on how to navigate the cycle from the initial listing through ongoing public-company investor relations. Specifically, he highlighted two core attributes that in his view distinguish successful public companies and investments. Firstly, Edric talked about how having strong communication and storytelling skills is crucial for building investor confidence and effectively conveying a company’s vision and value to the market. He emphasized that attracting and retaining investor interest is not just about numbers and filings but shaping a narrative that resonates, clarifies vision, and engages stakeholders. Secondly, Edric spoke on the importance of staying within defined performance ranges, maintaining regular updates to research analysts and media, pursuing a disciplined cadence of disclosure and engagement. Despite the fact that the cumulative effect of consistency might not be immediately apparent, over time this builds credibility and long-term attraction.

At the same time, Edric also addressed technology and market trends. He described blockchain technology and cryptocurrency as transformative forces by pointing out that companies that merely hold cryptocurrencies without deploying them actively are akin to “having a pile of gold sitting in the garage doing nothing.” Again. he suggested that Univest is looking to partner with companies that can leverage such assets productively. In addition, he discussed how social media can serve as a double-edged sword by broadening a company’s reach, strengthening brand engagement but also present risks that require careful management. Overall, Edric’s insights at the ORY Conference reinforced Univest Securities’ commitment to innovation and long-term value creation, positioning the firm as a forward-thinking partner for growth companies navigating global capital markets amid expanding APAC–U.S. investment flows and rapid technological transformation.

New York, NY, September 24, 2025 — Univest Securities, LLC shared highlights from the opening remarks delivered by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Edric Yi Guo, at the Education for Global Diplomacy and Peace Conference 2025, organized by the Forum for World Education (FWE) at the Penn Club of New York.

As a proud sponsor of this inspiring event, Univest reaffirms its belief that education and global exchange are powerful forces for peace and progress.
